Hazel Mary Jane LARSON
Allert, Hazel M. nee Larson 1924 - 2009 Loving wife and mother. Passed away January 30th of pneumonia at the age of 84. Born to Emily and Helmer Larson, she grew up near Hillsboro, N.D. with her nine siblings. Married Charles H. Allert and celebrated over 60 years together. During World War II, Hazel was selected into the U.S. Cadet Nurse Corps where she received her training at Mounds-Midway School of Nursing. Graduating as an R.N., she worked at Mounds-Midway, and later in life, provided nursing care on an individual basis. Among those who will miss her most are her loving husband, Charles, children, Charlene, Emily (Dean) and Johannes (Lori) and siblings, Bernice of Albuquerque, N.M., Elsie of St. Petersburg, FL and Victor of Saukville, WI. Preceded in death by siblings, Gilman, Cleo, Merl, Odin, Phyllis and Lyle. Thank you to the staff at Cerenity Center for the excellent care they provided. A memorial service will be held February 7th at 10 a.m. in the Chapel at the Cerenity Care Center in South St. Paul, 724 19th Ave. N. • Biography. Hazel graduated from Mounds Midway School of Nursing in 1946. Hazel married Charles Henry ALLERT, son of William Frederick ALLERT and Bertha Dorothea STOLTZ, on 4 Sep 1948. (Charles Henry ALLERT was born on 10 May 1920 in Saint Paul, Ramsey, Minnesota, USA, died on 26 Feb 2009 in Saint Paul, Ramsey, Minnesota, USA and was buried in Mendota Heights, Dakota, Minnesota, USA.) |
