William married Ida Florentine STEINKE, daughter of Samuel STEINKE and Anna Christine SCHNELL, on 18 Sep 1881 in New Rome, Sibley, Minnesota, USA. (Ida Florentine STEINKE was born on 4 May 1859 in Floth, Netzekreis, Pomerania, died on 22 Jan 1921 and was buried in Prescott, Pierce, Wisconsin, USA.)
